LOCS / BRAIDING

Phoenix has been working in the industry since 2022, but her fascination with hair began much earlier. At 13, she started doing her mum’s locs, developing a passion that has continued to grow ever since. She specialises in locs, braids and fades, and working with different hair types and textures has allowed her to continually learn, develop and evolve her craft.

At 17, Phoenix had her first experience working on a show, braiding the hair of the choreographer and dancers for Jason Derulo’s concert. This opened the door to opportunities across shoots, shows and red carpets, including shoots for Vogue and Grazia, as well as advertising campaigns for Prada and Miu Miu.
